Oakley Big Mountain Skier Andreas Fransson Takes Aim At Marécottes Backcoutry In Switzerland
Oakley big mountain skier Andreas Fransson continues his world travels on a train from Chamonix to Marécottes backcoutry in Switzerland. He spends a night in a high elevation hut, has a good dinner and then continues his quest the next day. Heading out on foot and skis, Andreas fights the tough snow conditions and shows that ultimately smart decisions can turn a sour day into a safe and happy ending, stating “It was simply too dangerous to continue. It’s not the most fun thing to do, to turn around from a great ski. But no ski is worth dying for.”

Oakley And Ski Prodigy Kai Mahler Team Up For Winter X Games Helishoot
During this year’s Winter X Games Tignes, Swiss up-and-comer Kai Mahler spent some time at Oakley ValPark, which was located just 10 minutes away from the X Games course. On the last day we had a little helishoot and it was showtime for Kai. Check out Kai’s edit from this killer day of shooting.
